Ever been scrolling on a friend’s Timeline and realized you missed their post or status on your News Feed? Well, Facebook set out to fix that problem. Now you can add up to 25 of your Facebook friends to the “Close Friends”list. This adds those friends to a section so you can see more of them on Facebook. It will make sure to you know each time they post to Facebook.
To access this info, log into your Facebook and look to the left side of the screen where you can see your Favorites, Pages, Friends, Groups, and Apps. Click the“Friends” tab, and it will take you into a “Close Friends” page. Here you can add friends to this group by typing their name, or it lists suggestions based on family and whom you interact with the most on Facebook. I added some of my friends and monitored it for a week. I noticed three especially who came up on my newsfeed most often so being more of a Twitter user myself, it attracted me to Facebook more often.
I would recommend taking advantage of this feature if you are a user who is particularly interested in a few people on Facebook, but doesn’t get on much. This ensures that you can keep up with those people without constantly checking Facebook. Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think of the switch!
